I have always loved taking photos! And with 4 kids and a farm - my camera roll is pretty big!! Tom and I love scrolling through our phones of a night time revisiting memories, watching videos of my kids and the funny things they have done or said. To be able to capture these memories for your family is so humbling.
My journey into photography started 12 years ago when Tom bought me a 'big fancy' camera as a wedding gift. It spent alot of time in the cupboard gathering dust, because I had no idea how to use it. Fast forward to covid. We had just had our third baby, Oakie, and I had alot of time on my hands. So, I jumped into a few photography courses headfirst and began learning all that I could. And the rest is history.
I love to capture the very essence of what your family means to you. I love raw, candid, in-between moments. Maternity bumps are a favourite and newborn shoots always make me clucky! And then there are weddings. To be able to sit with a bride and groom and help plan out their day, help them decide on vendors and bring their vision to life. And then capture that. That is really something special.
Getting your photo taken isn't at the top of many peoples priority list. My goal for our session is for it to be fun, memorable, and playful. And with acres of paddocks, a running creek, cows, calves and butterflies; you'll soon forget that I am there taking these images.
