A Hunter Valley Elopement

Nestled within the picturesque Kitchwin Hills of the Hunter Valley, The Barn in Scone played host to the secret elopement of Blake and Tatjana during mid spring. The day couldn't have been more perfect with clear skies and the warm sun casting a golden glow over the stunning landscape.

Just Us

Tatjana meticulously planned every detail, from catering to flowers, outfits, ceremony timing, wedding cake, and music. She was determined to make it a "proper wedding day" even though it was an intimate elopement shared with their three children: London, Reign, and Tama. The love and support of their children added a unique warmth to the day.

A vision.

On the day of the elopement, I arrived to find a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, heartwarming moments of Blake and the boys getting ready, as well as Tatjana and her daughter, London, focusing on the finer details. Tatjana kept her bridal look a secret from Blake until the very moment she walked through the stunning glass doors that offered a breathtaking view of the valley. She was a vision in an elegant ivory gown by Bec & Bridge carrying a stunning posy of everlasting florals by The Petal Folk.

Blake and Tat exchanged their vows under a beautiful arbour, officiated by Molly Bailey. Their heartfelt words spoke of a love that had blossomed since their teenage years, the adventures and memories created together, and the joy of bringing three beautiful children into the world.

After the ceremony, we took a moment to relax and enjoy some refreshments before venturing out to capture their bridal portraits. The natural beauty of the Hunter Valley provided a stunning backdrop for their photos, with galloping mares and foals reminding us how amazing the horse capital of Australia really is.

Upon returning to The Barn, they were treated to a delicious meal prepared by Merv from the Hunted Gourmet and a stunning wedding cake from Cakes by Tamara.

Blake and Tatjana's secret elopement at The Barn, Scone, was a day filled with love and warmth. As a photographer and unofficial wedding planner, I had the privilege of witnessing and capturing their journey into marriage, surrounded by their adoring children and the breathtaking beauty of the Hunter Valley. It was a day to remember, a celebration of love, family, and the hidden gems that the Hunter Valley have to offer.
